Why does Bukisa have so many problems?
I have been using Bukisa for about 3 weeks now and really getting frustrated with all the bugs and problems it has.
1. I’m based in Asia and during my day time, I often find that page editing doesn’t work. You try to save a page and it will come out with an error page “Error submitting form …” (it not the usual error where you don’t fill-in a required field). The problem stays for the whole day and goes away only when the sun rises in the West.
2. The page views are totally random. The numbers seem to come from a Random number generator program. The total number of page view on the “My Bukisa” page doesn’t match with the sum of individual “unique views” of page on the “My Content” page. Moreover, the “unique views” for a page on the “My Content” list doesn’t match the page view on the page itself (when you open a document). Sometimes, the “unique views” are 3 times higher than the page view displayed on the page.
3. The page editing functionality is totally crap. It’s so difficult to get it right. No matter what you do, sometime it just goes berserk and doesn’t accept your commands. I’m quite proficient in HTML but still can’t seem to get it right.
I like the ‘Bukisa’ concept and it sounds pretty promising. But, after all these problems, I’m wondering is it really worth my effort and attention? I’m keen to hear what others think about Bukisa.
Thanks.

@Brian,
I would like to address your concerns.
1. This issue was related to the previous security upgrades we made to our submission problem, due to increased “false positives” we disabled it – so you shouldn’t run in to any issues.
2. Your unique views usually don’t match the views (read count) as they are calculated differently.
3. This is an issue I think you should contact our support staff directly with in order to help you out with.

Thank for your response and taking the feedback in positive light. I do see that the problem #1 is fixed now.
